Joining the AABL as a player:

   The AABL is continually endeavoring to bring in new and diverse talent.  There is a team in our league for every baseball lover, the trick is finding the perfect fit.  The AABL is unlike any other baseball league; cultivating many levels of experience - from players dusting off for the first time in a long time, to active collegiate players home for the summer, and everything between.  All players are required to sign a waiver that covers their liability playing baseball (not personal health insurance) and pay a $195 player fee which helps pay for fields/maintenance and umpires.  The waiver and player fees are due before entering AABL play, however players are free to practice until they are comfortable committing to a club. 

   For players unable to play the entire AABL schedule we offer a half-season rate of $120 that is applicable either to games before or after July 10.  For players on brief visits, or those just testing the waters, there is a $20 per game fee that can be applied to any non-tournament game.  Players on short contracts must still fill out a waiver form and secure payment prior to playing.  Payments for short contracts cannot be applied to longer terms.
